MISCC organized a consultative form on 20th March 2009. This forum was attended by 24 participants from Keringet, Kuresoi, Mauche, Elburgon, Olenguruone, Molo and Kamara Divisions in Molo District. Participants reported what had been happening in their respective areas of residence. Reintegration among different communities is gradually coming back and farmers are busy preparing land in readiness for the planting season that is ahead. However, the concerns were that farmers were lacking planting materials and livestock theft was reported to be occurring in many areas. In the forum, participants agreed that local peace meetings would be organized in: – Kamwaura, Sirikwa, Sachangwan, Sondu River, Mauche and Kaplelach. Meanwhile, they were urged to work hard in their farms as they await for the long rains which are just about to fall.
